A friend of mine has had difficulties shrinking a couple of columbia,tristar films with dvd shrink,I've seen on here some people have been saying that dvd anytime will work so I have downloaded the free 21 trial version but what is the procedure to encrypt the dvds ready for clone.I'm at the interface when it opens,put the dvd in and press ok but nowt happens,would appreciate any advice.

I think you are refering to AnyDVD. It runs entirely in the background. Simply double click on the AnyDVD icon on your desktop then the fox will appear in the taskbar. Then just open the transcoder of choice and proceed as usual. AnyDVD should break the encryption automatically.
