I was wondering if someone could help me on this. I copied a game using DVD-Decripter and the game is playable in my ps2 but it has a glitch, the audio keeps getting stuck and repeating itself. Its really annoing. I burned it at 1x. When I ripped it it made two files an ISO and a MDS file. What do I do with the MDS file? Do I burn it with the ISO file. That might be what I did wrong. Not sure though. Thanks for the help.

the mds is basically a pointer that tells dvddecrypter where the file is and how to burn it etc. sorta like a .cue file for cd games so I don't think that's the problem. Could it be the quality of the media? maybe your ps2 doesn't like that brand of media.

You should try to re-burn the game.
I have had a few games which do this, when re-burned onto a new disc the problem is solved.
Use quality media such as TY or Verbatim, at slow burn speed.

I've heard a lot of people burn at 4 speed with great results.
I tend to stick to 2.4 X as it works well for me on TY media.

I found the problem. I was using DVD + R. When I used the DVD - R it works fine. I was burning at 1x the whole time. Thanks for your help!

I had issues with stuttering sound when forcing games to run in non native format - PAL to run as NTSC etc.
