I use DVD Decrypter and after I have the file on my hard disk and play it back it tends to jerk. When it burns to a disk it does the same thing. Can you help?

Try rip with another program (e.g. DVD Fab Decrypter) to see if things are better:

In that case, maybe a codec problem? Try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version) from this site to see if things are better.
