Hello everyone!
I am a first time poster, but I wanted to bring to your attention the fact thaty EB Games are a bunch of rip off artists. The take your pre-order money, then you don't even get your system. They sell it off the shelf instead.
I am postoing here to let you know I have started a site ebgamessucks.com . I am not attemptiong to advertise either - The site sells no products, pushes no links, or anything. It's just a site explaining why and how badly eb games rips off its loyal customers.

And Electronics Botique, which is what its called at the mall near me. And they give out bags that say EB Games, how stupid is that? Just change one of the names...:) Anyway, its not really any of the stores faults. Microsoft didnt supply them with enough consoles. Some stores took as many as 100 preorders and recieved as little as 7 consoles.

Microsoft better not sell any more consoles off the shelf in the U.S. until they catch up on the preorders. You have to reward the guy that plunked down his deposit in advance and planned ahead.

You are absolutely right, I have preordered the Ultimate Bundle on September 2 with lots of extras = $1200, and they say that I may get it some time late Dec or early Jan, and they were rude on the phone, so I have canceled it (mainly because I heard that there are many props with the first shipment I have two friends that had props and many errors and crashes so I will wait for a third or forth shipment for a better ver), but this is not the first time, I always have had a bad experience with this so this it, this will be the last time I deal with them

I preordered mine on Gamestops website on sept 15 and I got mine just fine plus one I bought a best buy( I camped out):p

i dont think ur prob is with EB games its with the kid who sold it to his friend for xtra cash . i know i would if i worked there

well if you wanted a 360 so badly then you should've camped outside a best buy like other hundreds of gamers. its not EBs fault that a lot of gaming stores got shortages

Pre-ordering HAS always been a rip off. I don't know why more people don't know that. Same thing happened with the PS2 launch. Everyone was told "oh you have to pre-order one to be sure you get it, thats the only way" There were over 20 people I know, half close friends and half just people I work with or know well that pre-orded a PS2. I didn't pre-ordred a PS2 because I already knew what it was, a rip off. So when the PS2 launched, guess how many of the 20 or so of my friends got a PS2? Yep you guessed it, none of them did. I was the only one who got a PS2 on the day it launched, because I camped out at our local wal-mart. They were all laughing at me for staying the night in the electronic, but the next day when they were told they could not get their system, they were VERY mad, I told them they could come to my house and play mine with me.
So they all pre-ordred a system, and the game store only got around 15-20 don't remember the number but it was LOW. The wal-mart that was right beside the game store, got 25 PS2's in. That was more that the store that took pre-ordreds got and wal-mart was a first come, first server store, stand in line, and at 8 AM they gave out a ticket, only one ticket per-person, then walk back to lay-a-way and pay and pick up your system. When I heard that it was only one ticket per-person, I had my girlfriend stay the night there with me and get another ticket, then I sold the ticket the next morning for $250 bucks, and then they still had to go buy the PS2 all they bought from me was a ticket so my PS2 was almost free. I LOVE pre-order's they are a great way to make money from camping out. $250 buck for one night is a good nights work

i went & got my preorder refund back from ebgames. my main reason being that ive heard too many horror stories of people complaining about problems with their xbox360. i'd rather just wait until the end of next year to pick one up. the lauch titles suck.
cant wait for 'gears of war'

I preordered a 360 at ebgames and they said I was on the top 15 on the list but when I went to pick it up they said I was 86th. They said I'll probably get the console at around March, but now that Microsoft has canceled sales to fix the crashing it might be around the time of PS3 or Revolution. I earned the $400 buy selling old consoles so I will only get store credit. Does any1 think PS3 will be better bcuz I can just transfer my money to the PS3 reserve when available. Basically ebgames lied to me.

They haven't cancelled the sale of xbox 360's due to crashing. I've seen people advertising a sale of a 360 on Ebay that bought there system yesterday at Target.

Well I just went to walmart and they said that they wont be getting anymore shipments until microsoft solves the problem.
