I ripped a concert DVD, and, for the sake of saving space, chose to keep only the Dolby 2.0 and DTS 5.1 audio tracks. Since I created a new DVD, choosing some perfomers and not others, creating new chapters, etc etc, I now realize that the burnt DVD, which works fine otherwise, has no menu for me to access the DTS audio track (which is there!!).
Any trick to access it with my Denon player? Or, how should I rip such a "best of" dvd so that I still have access to the DTS?
Suggestions welcome!

If your DVD player is worth a f**k, there should be a button on the remote that is labeled audio. This will let you shuffle through the available tracks. There is usually a button for subtitles, too.

Another thing to consider if you are interested in DTS audio is to make sure your receiver can decode the signal. You will also need to use a digital cable(coax or optic).

Thanks, I knew all this. Some DVDs only allow access to DTS (unlike Dolby 5.1) through their menu, and not through the audio menu of the dvd player. This is my problem in this particular rip. (BTW, the original DVD plays fine in DTS.)

I have never run across a dvd with a DTS track I wasn't able to access through the remote once the main movie was playing. What DTS dvds have you had issues with?

Depending on which program/s you are using to back up your dvds, you can set the disc up to play the DTS track by default.

what program are you using to rip this dvd most will not allow you to rip the DTS 5.1 audio if you reauthored this dvd and you left out the menu there is no way you can acess something that is not on the disc
