Gee your so confident arent you that your way is the best way, i doubt you'd consider the hundreds of other great software apps out there that can do it better than shrink and clone.
@ bnordjr: thanks for the link.I'll try it when i have some time and let you know what i think.I have downnloaded it will get back to you later

ok this is only an initial response.I have downloaded this program and have tried to rip the movie only out of an anime i have called peacekeeper.
THE FIRST SCREEN YOU GET AFTER LOADING THE SOFTWARE is this one:
doesnt look to good but simplicity is the key here and looks can be deceiving. And thats entirely true here.
i have so far succeed in transferring the movie only sequences(2 files) in about 2.19 mins,(size 1.5gig) thats quite impressive. Also noted that you can just double click the ripped files and my power dvd will utilise them with out me directing them to.
DONT like vobs but you can re convert them with divx to dvd and yes i did try that.
I especially like that it has its own css and region override function built in compared to other people using anydvd or dvd 43 running in the background.
Overall the initial out look seems to be yes it is a good program but until i have sussed out all the functions including ripping to avi, its probably worth a look at.
see how you go and let me know if something doesnt work.
You may get alien13 paying you a visit as i asked him also to try it out .
later man

ok i shall write myself a reminder to pm him every week :)
also i should ask about the ShrinkTo5 program, a newer program similar to DVDShrink, well the same except it supposably produces far superior quality and you have to donate to get the disc writing plugin, so just use Nero instead :)
you can download a plugin separately that decrypts CSS so thats useful...
anyway you can get it from shrinkto5.com
g'night

@Phantom69
I have been messing with ShrinkTo5 for a couple months now, I paid the $1 donation to get the Burn plug and installed the "machinist.dll" to decrypt, giving this program a (almost) 1 click run. It works great sometimes and other times totally screws up, still unstable but looks to headed in the right direction, I'm still a newbie so take my comment for what it's worth.
Thanks for all the feedback on CladDVD!
