I am trying to convert and burn an .avi file. I followed the instructions and used Avi2Dvd to convert to an .iso and then Dvd decrypter to burn to DVD. When I play it on my computer it works. When I put it on a standalone DVD recorded/player. The screen jumps up and down. You can see the picture and hear the sound. But it constantly jumps.
I also used DVD shrink and DivxtoDVD with the same results
try using a dvd authoring program like Nero Vision express, Power Producer or WinDVD Creator...
a program like this should have come with your dvd burner and will not only allow you to transcode your AVI to dvd but also enable you to create menues and the such, if you do not have one, i recommend...
