Question about burned PS2 games..

several games I burn are not centered when I play them. I use swap magic and have several other games that do not have this problem. two of the games that don't work are gun and king kong these will only play in ntsc mode and not pal or normal.

Any help on this problem would be great!

The ones that arnt centered are most likely PAL games.

Patching those two games with a PAL2NTSC patch could help...but probably won't center it completely.

I think he has a PAL system and he's trying to play an NTSC game by the sounds of it.. in which case you have got it about as good as it will get by forcing the video mode with swap magic already... I don't think it'll make much difference to patch it. The reason it's not centered is that the NTSC system uses a lot more lines in the makeup of the signal, so it's a bit like trying to watch a widescreen movie on a square TV..it has to chop off the edges.
By all means try the converter, it might be able to do something to make it a bit better.. and good luck with it

I can play both NTSC and PAL games, but with these two games when I try normal mode or PAL the screen has a vertical roll. in NTSC there is no roll but it is not centered,

where can i get the patch that was mentioned?
