work at all.. is it possible that a virus was in one of the games or is this a patch problem what r the patches for. sometimes a backup game will work then you get afew minutes into the game ans it stops most of them wont boot to begin with can someone tell me waht the patches are for and if i need them or ? can a virus be put into a game and then screw up the ps2 so it wont play backups again? and yes i did a search but didnt see anything

What do you use a modchip or Swap Magic and if you do use a modchip which do you have and what did you flash it with and how did you burn the games.

First off,no a virus cannot be put in a game to mess up your PS2.

And secondly,what media are you using?

im using swap magic 3.6 flip top us version ..i burnt the games going into Nero burning rom and up until now they worked fine now the games no longer work .. ive even tried burninng through dvd decryptor and they still dont work

i didnt think there could be a virus but my bf wanted me to ask . im using some discs i bought from shop4tech .. could that be my problem i dont think they have a brand name ... does memorex work ok?

Memorex is really bad.

The problem could very well be the DVDs you are using,try using good quality DVDs like Maxell,TDK,Verbatim,Taiyo Yuden,Sony,use 8x DVD-Rs.Then see if you still have the problem.
