I have a V4 PS2 and I have had success playing a dvd-r of Mr. Deeds (Optodisc) and The Matrix (possibly Meritline brand...don't remember). I purchased a sampler, then bought a 100 spindel of DVDPro Grade A that work fine in my PowerMac and my stand-alone Zenith, but won't play in my PS2 (just got new laser). The Ps2 recognizes the dvd-r's as "DVD Video"'s, but won't play at all. Before I bought the spindel of DVDPro, I tested one on my friends Ps2 (most likely not same version) and it worked fine. Does anyone know what cheap media works with PS2 V4 for dvd-r movies and games? Optodisc? Accu? Internet Brands? I know this topic has een odne to death, but I havn't been able to find alot of info on Ps2 V4. Thanks
