After a bit of research i have found out that there is actually a way to make the Philips DVD+RW-D01 write DVD+R discs.
here's the down low.
if someone can get the RW flash program to update the Philips DVD+RW-D01 using this system file (D28_162_RPC1.BIN) i think this piece of crap might work.
Since the Philips DVD+RW-D01 is really actually a cover up of the OEM Ricoh MP-5120A, if it is updated it should be changed to OEM Ricoh MP-5125A firmware which can write DVD+R discs.
EXPERTS I NEED YOUR HELP TO SEE IF I'M RIGHT OR WRONG
