Hi!

I use DVDtoDivX (by Cybergame2000),
and I usually rip to XviD.

A while ago, I ripped with "quantization" by mistake. The movie was 660mb big, and the quality was almost perfect. And it was about 90 mins long.
Then, I tried to rip it with "bitrate" to 700mb, and the quality was crap when the people ran around.

I think that quantization gives higher bitrate when it needs to, so the picture don't get "squary" when moving a lot. But I'm not sure if it's possible to know how much the file will take, in advance...?
