i have been trying to rip xxx of my dvd for days now.I can get the video perfectly but when i play it it has no sound!Someone please help as i have tried every program i can find.

If you are not getting any audio at all, are you sure you have lame installed. you must have the codec available for the encoder to use it. If you don't have lame try ogg. The quality is better but the file size is much smaller.
Right now i am just trying to do a straight rip of the vob file so i can convert it to avi on my hard drive(it seems to be quicker then doing it off of cd on my computer)But the vob file whenripped off of cd only plays the movie!i have done this a million times before with other dvd's and it has always worked fine
