Okay,

I'm a bit puzzled. I have both the older PS2 model (), and the new slim-line PS2. I have also installed a new flip lid for both of my PS2s.

The new slim-line PS2 boots up Swap Magic 3.6, and from there, I can boot up my burned games. I'm using -Rs as my media type.

However, with my older PS2 model, I get to the SM 3.6 "load program" screen, and each time I try to load a burned game, I get "invalid PS2 disc." I ensured that I ordered the correct lid, since my older PS2 has 8 screws. I've also removed and re-attached the new lid a few times.

What am I missing? I've tried to also burn the same games that my new PS2/flip lid/sm combo boots successfully, via burning to both + and -R dvds.

bro, instead of pressing x on load screen, press square for special boot. this shall resolve ur problem.

I failed to mention that portion of my troubleshooting. I have already tried using the Special boot option button. I'm thinking there's a trigger not pressed, but for the life of me can't figure it out.

What model is your older ps2? have you tried booktyping the dvd+r? for more compatability as it fools the ps2 into thinking it's dvd-rom.
