How do I copy a double sided dvd to 1 dvd5?

I have a 2-DVD set that I need to copy to 2 DVD-r's. The problem is, that theyre double sided DVDs (Side A and Side B). I can't figure out how I would go about compressing each side so I end up with 2 DVD's total (out of 4 sides - 2 sides per DVD).

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Rip each side labelling each side distinctively. Open DVD Shrink, go to Reauthor, DVD Browser tab. Select the movies one at a time and move them to the left side for transcoding and burning.

Thanks for the info LOCOENG.. only thing is that I kind of wanted to keep the menus, but I see now that it wouldn't work since there's probably a separate menu on each side.

that and it really going to be compressed so your picture quality going to suck ,you might consider a DL dvd

I did Goodfellas this way and while compression level was high, it is still passable for viewing. I don't had a HD tv though so that might make a difference.
