I've looked everywhere else on the 'Net for help with this situation - I want to make sure I've covered every possible angle before I shell out for a new player - so you all are my last resort.

I bought an RCA Progressive Scan DVD player less than a month ago (DRC246). A few days back, it randomly started flickering pretty badly. Then all of a sudden, as of today, I'm losing video sporadically - it'll cut out and go to the blue input screen every once in awhile, although I still hear the audio running. Sometimes it'll come back, sometimes I have to turn my TV on and off to get it back. But it always cuts out again minutes later.

It's getting quite frustrating - especially since I bought the player so recently. I've analyzed all my connections, they all seem to be working properly, and my TV is working fine on every other input. Is there any possible way to fix this, or is my player shot?

Very much appreciate any light you all could shed on this situation. Thanks!
