I'm still confused about this menu...

Ok so let me give you the scene from step 1 so you know wats going on. On my pc i have 4 episodes of OC. I now want to put all 4 episodes of oc onto 1 dvd. At the moment they are all in avi format. So i open dvdsanta and tell it to encode episode 1. I then do this for the remaining episodes. After encoding them i then go to dvdshrink so i can shrink them and get them to fit on one dvd-r.

In dvdshrink i click on re-aurthor. I then chose the files i want to go on the dvd. So i click on oc episode 1 and drag it to the left pane, then i click on oc 2 and drag then 3 and 4. So in my left pane i have under the DVD STUCTURE title 1, title 1(2), title 1(3) and title 1(4).

Now this is where the confussion starts to kick in!! i don't know if this is where i'm supposed to have inserted a menu yet or not!

Basically for a menu i want something pretty simple. I want a picture in the background of OC then on the background i'd like to either have a picture of each episode so that i can move my cursor to episode 3 if i want to watch episode 3. Only thing is i dunno how to do this....

DVDShrink doesn't make menus. It reauthors DVD's by shrinking them to fit on one disk.
You need an authoring app, such as DVDLab, TDA, Ulead movie studio, nerovision express, etc.

ok so i have Nero vision express. so after dvdshrink has done its thing i then need to use Nero visin express. can you guide as to wat i do in Nero please....

just another quick question. Since i'm going to shrink all 4 files togther will Nero vision express recognise that there are 4 different episodes or do i need to shrink each one individually?

Forget DVDShrink.
Open the first video in NVE, then open the second, the third, the fourth.
Click Next...
You'll create the menu, complete with links for all your episodes, and it will encode, author, and burn it all.

Although NVE isn't the best, it will give you a good start.
