Does anyone know of a fast way to burn already burnt movies. I am using Sonic record now and it is taking over twenty minutes. I am using Verbatium 16X dvds in a 16X burner. Is their anyway to make sure I am burning at 16X. All my programs say they are starting to burn at 2X. Can anyone help?

You dont want to burn over 4x anyway. You need to keep the speed to 4x or below.
The reason is the faster the speed the more chance of getting read errors on the disc your burrning.
20 minutes is not that long for backing up a 4 gig DVD movie.
As of changing the speed you should bebale to change the speed in your burning program before you start the burn.
I wouldnt know how to tell you to change the speed using Sonic record now crap. I tried it once and will never go back to it. I will stick to nero!

Try DVD Decrypter or imgburn iso read then iso write. You should be able to burn those 16x verbs at 8x without any problems.

Hi gwendolin,
Thanks, but I have been an addict for several months now (4 or 5). Thats strange cause somebody else congratulated me just yesterday or this morning (can't remember which) but thanks all the same.
