I bought new Benq dvd burner from a little talked about web site in these forums. I ordered a dw1640 and they sent dq60. My question is what is the differencess between the two, is one just as good as the other? Just trying to figure out if I need to send it back or if its worth the trouble. Any help would be apreciated.

Here is an article from the BenQ website...looks like its just an upgraded model, with RAM capabilities added.

Yup...according to the BenQ site the 1640 doesn't support RAM, so the DQ60 is probably the better drive as it support more formats.
