Playing a Backup on Clear Play dvd player

I bought one of those clear players that helps to "clean up" movies and it says its supposed to play backups of my dvd's, but when I put in the backup it tells me there aren't any filters for this movie. The filter works with the original though.

Is there something that decrypter or shrink is doing to the movie that keeps the filter from being read correctly??
