hello everybody! a few days ago I ordered a flip top cover and Swap magic 3.6 from the company memtech solutions. I haven't got any response from them what so ever, and I have sent them several e-mails. I searched the web and found out that there is a lot of people that has had the same problem with poor customer service.

please tell me your experience from the company, cause Im afraid that I won't see any items ever, and then I feel sorry for them...will trash talk them at every forum...

(I live i Sweden, anybody outside of UK that has ordered from them?)

Hi,
I have been having same problems with Memtech Solutions,
orderd a PS2 flip top, never arrives, many promises of a call back never came, to call them you have to use an 0870 number, no replys to many of our emails.
Asked for proof of posting which they amazingly could not fnd when i was on the phone, promised to email me a copy whic surprise surprise never happend. Also the date it was APPARENTLY posted changed on at least 2 ocassions,Then told me i would have to wait for royal mail to pay them compensation despite being promised a replacement in another conversation.
Now they have apparently sorted it out with the royal and posted my cheque which SURPRISE SURPRISE has still not arrived and this is now apparently my fault as i took a couple of days to respond to their email asking if i got the cheque, i have received 30-40 other items which have been posted AFTER their cheque was apparently posted and they ALL arrived ok. Guess the postal service in this guys world differs from mine.

I have now issued a small claims sumons against them and urge you to do them same if you get no joy, seems the only way to get you money or goods out of them

In my opinion stay well away from them their service is terrible and the customer support is even worse.

Hi Guys,

Did either of you have any luck recovering your money from Memtech? They took £59 off my card in November for an order that's still showing as Pending and will not answer my emails, calls or letter. I've submitted multiple enquiries using the contact form on their site. My credit card company can't recover money from Nochex apparently as their T&Cs state they don't deal with disputes. This is surely illegal isn't it? Anyway, I'm going to get onto Trading Standards now, but I sense the Small Claims Court might be the only recourse.

They finally coughed up the product in the end, after I sent a recorder delivery letter.

They really cannot run a business by ignoring the phones and not bothering to answer email.

They finally sent me a cheque after many threats and my starting legal action in the small claims court.

Funny thing is i paid by ccard but they sent me a cheque and the cheque was made from a personal account, i thought they were a limited company !!!, thought you would usually have to have a company account for that, strange ?

I suggest you download a small claim form form the internet, fill it in and email them a copy that usually gets them moving.

I may have the direct number for the guy, not the 0870 number, he did call me back ONCE and my calls forward to my mobile so as i pay for the forward guess it would appear on the phone bill ??, i will glady have a look and email or post it here. That was at least you dont earn him more money from the 0870 number.

this has already been posted, many people had the same problem. I orderd from them a while back and found this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/168644 i did in the end get my product but i wont be ordering from them again as i think i was one of the lucky few to get theirs :)
