Motorolla DCT 6400 /recording from DCT to VHS

I have a DCT 6400 set top that I received from my cable provider M. I am trying to transfer a show(s) that were recorded using the DCT to VHS tape but cannot configure things to allow me to do it.
Here is my current setup/configuration:
HARDWARE:
TV (not HD)
DCT 6400
VCR
DVD
CONNECTIONS:
TV has 3 input channels (call them video 1-3)
Cable to house is split with one connected directly to DCT and one to VCR.
DCT is connected to TV/video2 input using component video connection (video 2 is the only input with component connections)and r/l audio red/white cables
DVD is connected to TV/video 1 input using S video connection and red/white audio.
VCR is connected to TV/video 3 input using video cable(yellow) and red/white audio cables.
There is nothing connected to the TV's cable input.

If I play back a show recorded on the DCT it is playing on TV/video2 so how can I tape it to VHS which is now connected to TV/Video3. I don't mind manually switching cable connections when I want to tape a pre-recorded show.
Is there a way?
