Hello...

As you could probably find fairly easily, I've had a few threads based on my trials and tribulations burning a clean copy of Polar Express...and now after buying a new Sony, it appears the two DVD players I had tried it on might have been the culprit. This leads me to think about cleaning the DVD player. I did a little preliminary shopping at Wally World today but wanted your guys' feedback. The instructions say the laser should be cleaned every 8-10 hours...does that sound right? All the cleaners I saw have little brushes...part of me is uncomfortable with sticking something with tiny little pieces into the DVD player...is that what you guys use or is there a brushless method? Are there any other tricks to keeping the DVD player itself in top operating condition? Thanks in advance!
