I recently got a PhilipsHTS3400 (home theater system). It is a very good system plays everything I need, powerful , progressive scan blah, blah. blah,. It is a thin profile unit, much shorter than most players. It wouldn't play my backups when every other player in my house would. After much searching on the threads, found out about removing label. IT WORKED!!.. So for these types/model dvd players, I don't recomend using sticky labels. I know , not that great an idea to start with. I'll just put labels on my cases, sharpie on the disc.
