60+ hours to finalize my backup of my movie using DVD Shrink. I started it last night and got home from work at 4pm and it was at 38% and it said it had 30 more hours to go. Please help

Thanks,
Phil

+ hours?! My god. what made you keep going on, I would quit the ap and gone searching for answers immediatly. What are your computer specs? How much RAM you got? Is your DMA on, go here to check:

You should run a spy/ad/malware check, those will slow you down. I recommend Ad-Aware, best program out there, and free too. How much space you got left in your HD, and when did you last defrag it? If all else fails then uninstall then reintstall.

Average time for a slow, low end comp is 2-3 hours.

Make sure that your DMA is turned on. Sounds like you are in PIO mode.

Man, I class my PC at around mid range or lower by todays standards and a typical movie backup for me takes between 12 and 50 mins depending on the compression etc... I think your pc might need a bit of an overhaul. Hope you get it sorted out
