The eroor message simply means that your DVD\CD-Rom AND CDRW are BOTH on same IDE channel. Try a beter program called EAC (Exact Audio Copy). I'll provide a guide for you to print out and study, lol.
EAC: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
EAC guide: http://www.ping.be/satcp/tutorials.htm

If your not a pc guru, then don't try and fix your IDE problem. The EAC method copies to your hd first, thus eliminating the errors you are getting using Nero or Easy CD Cre(a)mater.

yqw. When I said that your DVD\CD-Rom& CDRW are both on the same IDE channel, it is most likely that both are set at "master", or both are set at "slave", or 1 might be set at "cable select", and another at "slave". it will take someone with advanced pc knwledge to fix your hardware problem. Not hard for me to fix though, lol.

mcg, please post next audio questions to Afterdawn's Audio forum, the proper place for that. Don't worry, our Shoey (an many other very smart people) surfs there, too.
