I just started into the backup game and had a few questions about media:
1.I am using +r for movies and -r for ps2 games,Is this correct?
2.I bought taiyo yuden,Is this good media?
3.Ive noticed that most original movies are on -r disc,but +r seems to be the most compatible.??????????

If you're burner is capable of booktyping, I would use DVD+R media and booktype to DVD-ROM for all your movies and PS2 games. They should play flawlessly that way. Only the plus format can be booktyped though. The dash format cannot.
Yes, Taiyo Yuden is excellent media. The best media you can buy, IMO.

Yeah, you're able to booktype with that drive. I have that drive myself and I love it!
