Are you sure that your Card Can capture Video??? The S-Video on the Card could be the S-Video TV-Out for the Card....

You also Have to Connect the audio from your Camcorder into your PC"s Sound Cards "Line In" Port cuz S-Video only Transfers a Video Signal not an audio signal.....

Also don"t use Windows Movie Maker to capture because it is More For Captureing from DV Camcorders not analogue Capture cards.....

If you go to the ATI web site you can download Capture software that is Made to work on ATI Cards and it is called "ATI Multi media Center" and is a Free download....

also check your Device Manager to see if you have the WDM Capture drivers for the Card Installed....If there is No WDM driver or a Capture device Listed in your Device manager then it is Likely because your Video card can not Capture Video as the WDM drivers would Have Installed when you Installed the Video Graphic Drivers...

Good luck

Well if your card can capture Video then it would say "Video in" on the card were the S-video connection is and your card would be Listed as a "ATI radeon 9550 VIVO" card in the Device manager.....

There are Lots of different capture cards you can use, You can even get a Really Cheapo One for about $20 on e-bay but you wouldn"t have very much success with it....

For about $75-$100 you could get something like the "Hauppague WinTV PVR-150" which is a Good capture card also the Newer "ATI Theatre Pro 550" is another Fairly good Card in the same price range and Both capture useing Hardware Mpeg-2 Compression which is the Format you use to create DVD"s......

Cheers
