I need help with the dvd decrypter. I am running dell 2.13 GHZ 512MB 766MHZ Bus. I have nero 7 Ultra. I use dvd decrypter to "backup" my movies from dvd+r dl to dvd+r dl. It seems everone says that dvd decrypter (which i have the latest version of) and nero are the best combo's, but my last movie i, robot I used dvd decrypter and nero and the movie quality is horrible is skips many times it freezes and will hardly play dvd+r dl are pretty pricey for now but if someone could help I'd really apreciate it.
I will try that but i am copying dvd dl to dvd dl and dl can only burn at 2.4 well.. for me at least but that doesnt matter. thank you for your tip i am going to try it right now.
Yes, I meant to burn with DVD Decrypter. And if the max speed is 2.4, that should be better. When I have discs that fit on a DVD5 I usually use only DVD Decrypter.
Also, make sure you Drive's firmware is up to date. I do not burn to DL discs, but I know booktyping helps a lot with those. Maybe you do not have a firmware that allows booktyping of DL discs.
Oh, and DVD Decrypter will create a .MDS file. When I burn in ISO mode, that is the one I use for Decrypter. I think it contains the Layer information.
If you get another bad disc, wait for someone that has some DL experience since they will be able to give you good troubleshooting advice.
I haven't tried what u said but I did a little more reading and screwed around on p2p networks to find full version anyway... I have AnyDVD and clonedvd2, and man they are flawless i've probably gone through 30-40 dvd's and a ton of programs and this is the best ive found!! they offer 21 day trial from their website u should definately try it if u havent already!!!---- www.slysoft.com
