Yo moderators why are some posts dissappearing. If they have cuss words then just edit it. I never get to see what ppl say when they respond and that sucks cuz i dont check every day and when i do its always gone. Pretty sure this ones gonna get deleted as well.

I can see chris' point though, sometimes in a debate because of peoples conflicting opinions things get heated, for example look at politics and parliment, sure they don't start swearing at each other but things do get heated, its part of any debate.
Btw wot does it mean when you hide a thread? does it come back?

Well of course the tension will be there. I think when Nephillim says normal debate, he does not mean someone calling another person a jack*** for having their own opinion or not agreeing with the insultee (is that even a word? lol). As in Karate, if there is no Rei, it is just pure, brute force. In this case though, if there is no Rei, it is just showing how rude one can be with words. Very similar. I may have sounded like Mr. Miyagi there, but it is the truth.

Our forums represent a huge cross section of folks ranging from wee little fellers still in grade school to grand parents and everyone in between so I'm not going to stand for a bunch of little punks having a playground cussing match in our forums. If a debate can't be carried on in an intelligent and mature manner then it gets shut down or hidden, end of story.
