Which store has the best sale this week best buy/staples or office depot???

office depot-verbatim 50 pack 16x dvd+rs=12.99
best buy/staples-sony 50 pack 8x dvd+rs=14.99/15.98

which is a better buy this week????

The verbs would be the best price the OD has. They'll code as MCC-004. I've only burned 100-all burned ok at 4x/8/and 12x/ and had 2 coasters due to playback issues.For me,these do perform better at the 8x burn speed.

Now for those sony's, get the spindles that say made in japan for the Yuden000-T02. These are also very good. The taiwanese sony are also pretty good and they'll code as SonyD11.For the same price,get the sony that are made by taiyo yuden.

I've burned a ton of verbatim and Yuden000-T02 and they all performed very good. I get over a 99% success rate from all 3 of my benqs.

I'm waiting for staple's to get their fuji's back on sale again. Their last sale they were 30 cents each and the japanese +8x fuji are the same Yuden000-T02 code.

Been a while since I posted, I still read a lot. If you remember, I work for Staples and I've been waiting on those Fuji's to go lower as well.

Indication is that they should go low again sometime after Christmas and may even clearance out since they are a promotional item. Been on the lookout and if I get anymore info, I'll pass it along.

Bad thing is, at least at my location, I have only found one -R spindle (out of about 50) that is MIJ. The rest are MIT. As far as the +R spindles, most, if not all, are MIJ.
