Hi all, i play my belove ps2 yesterday night and its work fine.
This afternoon i bring the set to my living room and try to play but instead of play its a message show up

*please insert a play station disc or play station2 format disc.*

I reset and reset. trying it will all the disc that i play before and the result is the same. Its just cant recognise ps2 game!!!

Now it only can play dvd(movie) and cd (audio)but not ps2 game.

My set is modified.
Can anyone tell me roughly what is the problem and is there anyway to solve?
Its all so sudden....

something is failing with your modchip, either a wire had come loose or the chip has failed. what chip do you have?

brought it for repair, mod chip burn zzzzz.. replace a new one.
