well i couldnt see where else to put this so i do appologise if it is in the wrong section. I am a part time dj, and i send compilations to clubs
as promotion samples. Is there a way i can copy protect my cds?? obviously cpoy protection can be worked around by some who knows what they are doing, but some protection would be better than none, any help would be most appreciated. i did try tz copy protection and cc lock unfortunately the guides where in spanish and when i tried to extract the image from my mounted image to put protection on i kept getting a cue error message.

Put some extra tracks on the discs that are not part of the actual disc (garbage tracks). Put these at the end. Then when you finish, put a hole in the disc where these extra tracks are. This should stop copying via making a disc image, but it will definately not stop anything that can extract individual tracks.

Another approach would be to mark the bottom with a marker or something, but again this would have to be where the garbage tracks are.

Anything else will require licensed copy protection software or more knowledge of how CDs work.

Well i have ccd lock and tz copy protection like i said but the guide says i created an image using winiso, then mounted the image with daemon
tools. Then extracted an image from the mounted one using cdrwin but for some reason when i try to add the protection using tz copy. i get an error message saying cannot open cue, i dont know if anybody has ever used tz, but does anybody know how to help or even an english tutorial on this as i ahve tried everywhere.
