dvd2avi 1.76 no audio file?

I have ripped the dvd and used dvd2avi 1.76 to create the audio and video file but all I get is the video. What am I doing wrong.

AFAIK DVD2AVI will only demux the video.
It's quicker (and cuts out a step) if you demux the video and audio directly from the source DVD

in decrypter just choose IFO mode then choose the streams you want and highlight each and check the box to demux to seperate streams

This will create an m2v file and an AC3 file (the sound)

If you have already got the VOBs on the hard drive then you can demux them with VOBedit.

Did you select the correct Audio Track ? did you make sure you are using Decode and not Demux in DVD2AVI settings ?

Thank you both (Sefy & Malum)I was able to determine that I had a different version of dvd2avi and didn't have the steps in the menu that you were talking about. I download ver 1.77 and saw the steps. I now have an audio file and I'm in the last step now. Yeh

I burned a vcd using nero 5.5 and I got a disk with the following folders;
cdi,Ext,mppegav,segment & vcd. However, when I put the vcd into my cd drive it doesn't start my power dvd program.
I burned the disk using nero's vcd template I was going to try to burn just the mpeg file but it was a little to big to fit onto one disk. Can you help me to burn this vcd so it starts when I put it in the drive?
