Was nice low 80's today.

It hardly ever snows here, and when it does it's usually only an inch or so, gets dirty and slushy looking very quickly.
It's years since we had a foot of snow, must be nearly ten years. And it's so funny, the whole country comes to a standstill, they close the schools, the buses stop running, it's ridiculous! It's a major event on the news and everything! LOL!
You'll have to post the pics of the snow here Icanbe, cos I want some too! ;)

Oh wow Snow on christmas day .................oh how i miss being a kid lol! the last time i remebmer it snowing on christmas day must have been back in either the 60's or early 70's. We lived in London then and it was really cold in the winter back then and there would be a blanket of snow everywhere even though we were surround by hi rised buildings.

He is about 6.6 tall and well got enough brillcream on his hair lol and enough makeup. women of ages from around 25-50 were asking him if the hair was real ( yup its also dyed black. Shame he got in there to late and there were no more spaces for karaoke - coz he is meant ot have a good voice. He walks past the shop quite often so i knew who he was but most people in the pub didnt - seems he had not bene in there before.

Snow? that must be the stuff they put on Christmas cards here in Australia to confuse the heck out of young kiddies.
"Dad...why does Santa have snow and we don't?" etc. etc. etc.
Just to warm you guy's up a bit....
Christmas day at Bondi beach.
Jealous yet? (hehehe)
Hello all.

3' of the cold stuff! That'd put a damper on your BBQ...lol. How long do you guy's have to put up with this?
In the Blue Mountains (Sydney) I've seen a covering of let's say an inch! Nice too look at and all but nice to get the heck away and go back home. :}
When my two eldest were toddlers, we took them up there to "see snow" lol. The poor little buggers were frozen stiff, but just hearing them giggle about the "crunch" of the snow underfoot was hilarious.
Cheers.

It lasts from about the end of november to about the end of march.
So about 4 months, Trust me by the end of march I'm very sick and tired of it. LOL
And yes it puts a damper on the Bar-B-que LOL, but i still go out and do it, just have to keep it close to the back door.

Rofl... Hmmm an icicle BBQ? I'll try anything at least once...maybe twice. :)
(lame joke) "then you and Icanbe icicles together"....(sorry...lol)
Cheers.
By the by...we've just had three days of reasonable rain (ta Eva) and Linny might like to know that every amphibian from miles around, seems to know that the chlorine level in the pool has dropped. Consequently they consider it to be their local breeding ground. I kid you not, it's almost impossible to sleep of a night with all the racket they create.
We've had a couple of mature blue tongued lizards in past years that come to feast on the snails and unwary frogs. They also tend to stick around a while as they are probably stuffed to the gills with food. They get so lazy in the end that all they do is flatten out and hiss when picked up.
Nice to know the local wildlife is still around a healthy.
