Possible to play games online from HDD using HD Advance 3.0?

I did the DNAS patch on one of my games, and it still won't get online, giving me error 880. Is there a way around this?

I haven't found any intelligent discussion on the matter on Google, so I was hoping someone could explain how to make it work for the benefit of everyone.

you should've tried a search in the forums as this question has been asked and answered many times. NO, you can't play any DNAS enabled games off the hdd. If you try older NTSC online games it'll work (older like socom, frequency, tribes:aa, twisted metal black onlin, etc...) basically any game that was released before NCAA football 2005 would work (I think this was released late 2004).

Sony was using the DNAS before late 2004,Socom 2 was released in Oct 2003 and it had DNAS.

then I made a mistake with the date, but I do remember one of the ncaa footballs being the first game with dnas enabled.
