loading psx backups with swap magic 3.2

im having a bit of trouble here. i tried loading a 'threads of fate' game with swap magic 3.2. first i tried ejecting the swap magic disc and it froze at the 'refreshing toc' screen. then i tried using the slide tool and booting on 'ntsc' mode and normal boot. then special boot. i even tried having the mode on normal and it still won't work. on normal boot i get a red screen. on special boot, it loads to a black screen then turns to the browser and then i get a 'please insert a valid ps2 disc' message.

i think you need to use the disc that comes with gameshark for playstation games. i know when i bought my v1 a long time ago it had gameshark playstation discs...

You need to have a breaker pro to play PS1 gmaes on your ps2. The swap magic simple doesnt have the cpability to play ps1 games on the ps2.
