i hooked up a 1.6 w/ x3(i think it was a ce. it was white and had a plug for the alt 5v instead of a pin. also the flash protect switch is in a dif place than it is in all the tut's i can find) and X3CP. i used the rebuild pcb. i booted the xb and got the reg ms dash. not the x3 flash bios screen.
ive sucsessfully modded a 1.1 w/ x3 before. so im not a total noob. but still need some help.
anybody have a simular experience?
i feal i did a good job soldering(but i know ive been wrong before!) and the chip lights up bright blue. also i did check that the flash protect was in the correct position(i didnt think it would matter). and tried it in both posisions just incase.
the x3cp is not lighting up at all.
