Watsup people at afterdawn, Im having a bit of trouble with a DVD. The movie is The Chronicles Of Riddick (Pitch Black) Unrated Directors Cut which is basically Pitch Black just that it has more features blah blah blah.
Now I used the method of decrypting it on DVD decrypter (ISO Image) and then tried using DVD Shrink to open the disc image and then encode and finally burn. In the Encoding Screen it gives a error. I also Have AnyDVD on while this is happening to remove the protection on the DVD. Note this DVD is brand new.
Then I use the casual method of putting the DVD in and opening Shrink while AnyDVD is on. I open Disc then encode and same happens error.
Im running out of ideas maybe its the DVD with some nifty state of the art protection that closes all these programs.
Thanks for reading this thread your help will be greatly appreciated.

As Rotary suggested, rip in file mode to hard drive, then use shrink to analyze and encode, and finally decrypter to burn.

I did this movie this way and it was a breeze. If it does not work for you post back the error that you are getting.

Thanks the method you guys suggested worked,Im thinking of using this method instead of making the ISO image. Now im thinking which is better Iso Image or File so far File worked fine with this DVD but wondering if I should use it again due to the fact it takes longer but worked for two DVD's (Pitch Black) and another movie that caused errors using the Image method (The Bourne Supremacy, [it also worked with the File]).
What you guys use often?
