hi,
I have some kind of problem with psms on my ps2 (Master system/ Game gear emulator)
In the faq that came with the application, it says you need to create a FILES.TXT file with the romname, dir and file etc.

Alex the Kidd,ROMS1\ALEXKIDD.SMS
Asterix,ROMS2\ASTERIX.SMS
California Games,ROMS3\CALIFGAM.SMS
like this..
I did this with the app provided at the download site of psms.. I burned the roms and the 4 other files (PSMS.ELF, SJPCM.IRX, FILES.TXT and SYSTEM.CNF) with Nero and booted it with my Swap magic Boot CD..)

Then I actually get the rom list but when I select a game it says "rom error, press start to continue" on every single game and the seem to play fine on FreezeSMS (windows gamegear emu)..

does anybody know what could be the problem?

my files.txt looks like this:
Aladdin (1994)(Sega)(Jp).gg,ROMS0\8.gg
Aladdin (1994)(Sega)(Jp).gg,ROMS0\9.gg
Alien 3 (1992)(Acclaim)(En).gg,ROMS0\10.gg
Alien Syndrome (1992)(Sims Co. Ltd.)(En).gg,ROMS0\11.gg
Andre Agassi Tennis (1993)(TecMagik)(En).gg,ROMS0\12.gg
Arcade Classics (1996)(The Amoeba Group)(En).gg,ROMS0\13.gg
Arch Rivals (1992)(Acclaim)(En).gg,ROMS0\14.gg
Arena (1995)(Sega)(En).gg,ROMS0\15.gg

(the numbered files are actually created by the application who makes copys of the original rom, renames it for namespace (8.3 format) and put it's into folders (the emu can only handle 30 roms per folder)

Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?
