Hi,

I'm new to this forum and not sure if this is the right place, however, here is my question:

I have ripped a dvd on a friends computer and would like to put it on my dvd so I can take it home and recode it and burn it, since he does not have a dvd burner.

I have called apple, and they told me I am not able to put .vob files on the ipod.

So I deciced to try , and put the ipod in disk mode and attempted, but
received a cyclic redundancy check error. Which leads me to believe either it didn't rip properly, or it was in fact the ipod.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did use dvd decrypter to rip the image.
