I've been trying to upload a Morrowind save that I edited using Enchanted. I don't have a modded Xbox because I'm not brave enough to risk screwing it up. I found information on SoftModding so I decided to convert a spare controller to USB for the PC and I bought a memory card to transfer the save files between the Xbox and the PC. This almost works except from the point that I try to fix the signature so I could put it on the Xbox. (It doesn't accept unsigned save files, to the uninitiated.)

I'm using Enchanted (Latest Version), XSavSig 0.05, and Hex Workshop (Not Latest Version)

Once I've edited the .ess file I looked at the calculated signature, copied that and put that signature in the vv.dat file with Hex Workshop (OEM and the check box). From the point that I put the save and the vv.dat file back into the zip and put that zip back into the Action Replay converted Memory Card (It's a standard Xbox memory Card), it keeps telling me that the save is invalid. Has anyone found a way around this or a way to solve this problem? Is there other software I should try using? I tried looking into a memory card conversion with Mega X-Key but that didn't look possible.

Oh, BTW, the controller works and I've transfered the Morrowind save right back onto the memory card with no problems. That set up is fine. I appreciate any information anybody can give me. Thanks a lot.
