hi i'v recently brought a minidv camcorder (sony dcr-hc19e) and i wanted to transfer the video to my pc.
i found if i use the usb to transfer the video the picture quality was really bad (but atleast there was sound) anyway i heard firewire is the way to go, so i brought a firewire card and it seems to be working fine but when i transfer the video using the firewire the picture is really good but there is no sound at all!.
so basicly does anyone know why there is no sound?
i don't have a sound card, only onboard sound do you think that would be the reason? it did have sound when i used a usb though...*is confused*
btw i'v tried windv, Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0, the weird windows recorder thing thats built into xp and dvio (dvio wouldnt work atall) to capture the video with no luck.
if there is already a thread with the answer to this can u point me in the right direction coz i couldn't find it >.<
