Still troubleshooting, and confused about Region issues. I have, in this sequence:

1. R1 source disc (storebought).
2. R1 Combo drive, OEM (Gateway machine), presently set for Region 1, but can be changed.
3. Files ripped from source disc w DVD-decrypter, region free, massaged w IFOEdit
4. Files from step 3 burned w Nero to R1 drive (step 2).
5. Burned disc that plays fine on PC, but won't be recognized by Panasonic dvd-rv27 settop (no disc message).
6. R1 (assumed) Panasonic dvd-rv27

Questions:
A: What region is the burned disc?
B: If it's region free, and the settop is 1, is that a problem?
