I bought a few DVDs from China for like 50 cents each. They're really weird.
1. Star wars 3 has an annoying frame counter at the top and the quality is ok. But the weird thing is the subtitles are inaccurate and retarded. "Return of the Sith" is "Backstroke of the West" and "Arise, Lord Vader" becomes "get up". Its retarded, I tell you. "Send the troops" become "Send these troopseses only". How can I rip out this CRAP!?!?!?!?
2. I have a retarded copy of Indiana Jones 2. On the disc it says (in CHinese) "100% Advertisement Free" and i'm like wtf?!?!?!?!? and when i played it, in the middle of the movie you see this indian lady saying in an indian accent "the home loan centre" and i'm like WTF?!?!?!?!
How can i rip THAT CRAP out?!?!?!?!?
Sorry libenja but gotta laugh - yep as colw said you got what you paid for. I'm sure there's some prog to get this out but is it worth all that when you can probably pick up a cheap genuine copy off ebay.
you can rip the movie and rip out the parts that you want with windows movie maker, its gonna take long time to save it to your computer after you are done but it'll work
you gotta laugh tho, its very amusing to see people still buy so called bargains and get exactly what you know there going to get : crap movies on crap discs

Look at the bright side - you did not spend much money. Also, your DVD's were not filled with political advertisements as they are in some other countries.
