winavi splitting 1 avi into 2 dvd's??

hi i am using winavi version 7.0 i tried converting 1 avi file to a dvd but when conversin is done it splits into 2 dvd's why???? thanx

hi silkman,
i downloaded the program well the 7.1 version anyway.I think you'll find if you go to the advanced options that you need to untick the box that says 'split the output file and also change the size to around 4200 or 4300 meg.

oopps found the advanced options after choosing the file to be converted. At first looked under the menu/options tab...

thanks....only one problem i want to convert to an SVCD onto 1 disk. Changed all settings (maximum disks 1, don't split file, max size 700Meg) but the output file now comes to 1,3G -which i can't put ontto SVCD??

There is a drop-down list next to the Advanced button, did you chose SVCD there?
