What is the best place to get this combo? Particularly, I want the version of SwapMagic that allows me to play PS2 AND PS1 backups.
Yes, I've been searching this forum along with teammodders.com forums for good sites, and have come up with gocybershop.ca, consolesource.com, modchip.com, modchipstore.com, Are there any other sites with a cheaper price?
And also, is this the best solution for playing PS2 backups? I don't want to solder b/c I'm inexperienced. I looked up the memory card exploit, and that only has to do with not having to swap games (meaning I still have to have swapmagic, I believe). So, is this the best solution to modding my PS2 without buying a solder mod-chip?
One last thing... how long do you think it will take for pre-modded PS3's to come out after the initial launch of the PS3?

Hmm, I'm actually thinking of getting
Usbextreme + ***Gb Maxtor Hard drive
now, can IT play all kinds of PS2 games? For example, even the DVD-9 releases that come out?
Are there ANY modifications you can do to your PS2 to enable it to play PS1 games, that are feasible?

Well, since I learned that you need a swap tool or flip case to put burned games on the internal HDD anyway, I'm just gonna get SwapMagic 3.6 with flip case here
