a few years back, i got my ps2 modded, but after about a year, it totally screwed up my ps2, i couldn't eve play original ps2 games, i had to get they laser replaced, but after about another two months, that was done, so my ps2 was done. for about two years now, i got the slimline ps2 with no mod-chip and it's working like it should

live everyday if it were your last

from the title and the post i assume he thinks the chip is the fault of his PS2s demise and that all chips cause the same thing to happen..............i hope nobody tells my 5 yr old chipped PS2 that.

I beg to differ, i too had a ps2 modded and after one year, bam! there goes the lens. But i think it was the chips back then, the newer ones are a lot more reliable.

I sewed a badge onto a jacket once. Less than a year later and only having worn it every day, the stitching started to go in the jacket lining.

Someone should ban those things or at least warn people of the dangers!

Actually it should be back on Thursday or Friday.
