Hey Lads,

Heres my problem. I want to rip specific episodes of the Seinfeld DVD. Is there a way to do it using DVD Decrypter? Because I've tried it and I get confused. I also tried it once and it ripped with a Spanish language. How do I just rip one complete episode in english? Please Help...

Are you just trying to create parts of the DVD or the whole thing?

Normally what I do with DVD Decrypter is I use it to decrypter the whole DVD, then I use DVD Shrink to compress it into a folder that will fit on a disk. If you already have Nero installed, it should just open that up and prompt you to burn a DVD after DVD Shrink has made a back up of the files.

I like DVD Shrink because it is easy. If you just use the default settings you should be very pleased with it.

OK thats good so far but I just want to have one episode on the PC so I can put it on my iPod. I don't want to burn the actual thing, just store it on the PC. Is there a way in DVD Shrink to compress the file/s into one and just plainly store it on the PC without being prompted to burn it?

When you click on the Backup button there is a Dropdown Menu where your burner is listed click on the dropdown box and there is the option to store files on the HD just select this option
As far as just wanting the one Episode you should be able to do this in Reauther mode by using the Start and End feature to select what you want to keep

One quick question about TV serial ripping,

I tried ripping the TV episode Friends and it took my like 1 hr and 15 minutes to do it using DVD Shrink and Nero. Does it usually take that long or is it because of riplock in my NEC 3550 drive ?
