Hi all new guy here, pardon my ignorance, i'll probably (definately) be asking more questions than answering to start with, but hopefully that will change over time.

Here's my first question;

The following statement appears at the end of the encoding process when i use 'avi2dvd' with the HC encoder

HC Batch 0.15beta-by Hank315
Hcbatch.exe Application error

The instruction at "0x08ba4065" referenced memory at "0x08ca4ba0" The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program.

After i have clicked OK, the program continues on it merry way to do a 'Pull Down' and merge video and audio. After this is all done 'avi2dvd' says "All jobs completed successfully". Which it would appear they are as i can then successfully burn DVDs using the .rar file.

The problem is when i want to do multiple jobs overnight, i can't because i've got to click OK to terminate program after every encoding routine is performed.

Sorry if this is a bit long winded and thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hail! Hail!

I had the same problem - If I find a solution I'll post it, though so far, nothing.

Hi Adavis, thanks for keeping the thread alive. I tried using the free enc instead of HC enc and it was successful, but would prefer to use the higher quality HC enc. So problem still exists.
